Exercise Myths...Exposed

With school beginning, we find ourselves with less time for working out and our daily lives bombarded with tight schedules and stress. We often hear from our friends that don't workout much at all the following three myths about exercise:
  1. No pain : No gain

  2. It makes you tired

  3. It requires a lot of time

QUESTION:

How would you respond to someone who gave you one of these three excuses as to why they don't workout?

I think that those comments are really stupid. there is no excuse for not exercising. Everyone can find something that fits their criteria. swimming, football, anything

If someone tryed to use those excuses on me, I would take them exercising and show them the truth. That exercising can be pain free, fun and won't take up a lot of time.

I think that is a dumb excuse. There is no excuse for not exersising. You should exersise every day for at least a half hour. There are so many things you can do for exersise, a sport or even just walking.

I think that there is no excuse to not exercising. I belive if you want to exersize you will. students that use excuses to why they will not exercise are just lazy!

I also think they are really dumb. Pretty much everything you do involves exercise, so don't say you don't have the time or ability.

i think people should be able to make the excuses that they make. if they really dont want to do something they dont have to. however, exercise is good for everyone, and i think everyone should be able to find the time.

No pain: no gain you say? Pain is your body's way of telling you what is too much and how far you can push your physical limitations. Some discomfort, however, is inevitable whenm you are working out strenuously. It's knowing when to stop that helps to keep you at top notch.
